Bakeri Medical Research Centre

Dr jivraj Mehta Smarak Health Foundation established this medical research centre to commemorate the distinguished services of Dr. Jivraj Mehta the first chief Minister of Gujarat in the field of Medical Services, education and research.

This centre has an ultramodern and scientific equipments providing an advanced medical care for the healthcare problems of the population through its research component. Centre has been engaged in clinical, laboratory and field research programs concerning health disorders affecting urban , especially urban slum and rural population of Gujarat. Though, it is engaged in research projects concerning various medical disciplines, there has been emphasis on cardio-pulmonary disorders.
